We take seriously our responsibility to contributors to be wise stewards of funds entrusted to us. We raise the majority of our funds locally and receive some supplemental funding from Habitat for Humanity International. Secure Online Contributions It’s easy, quick and safe to support the house building, hope building work of HabiJax through our website. Our secure donation system protects your credit card information. Donate by Mail/Phone To donate by mail, please print our donation form and send it along with your donation to: HabiJax 2404 Hubbard Street Jacksonville, FL 32206 To make a credit card donation by phone, please contact our Development Department at (904) 208-6651. Gift announcement acknowledging honorariums and memorials are available with your phone donation. Sponsorships Our development team will work with any organization, corporation or individual to design a sponsorship package to specifically match your giving interests. Full sponsorship for a HabiJax home is $65,000 with the opportunity for volunteers to construct the home over a seven-week period. Volunteers are guided by HabiJax professionals and AmeriCorps volunteers, all of whom are specially trained in the HabiJax experience. InKind/ReStore HabiJax accepts in-kind donations of construction materials, printing, homeowner education programs, special event needs and administrative functions. Your gifts increase HabiJax’s ability to reach more families in need of quality, affordable housing. Real Estate As the Jacksonville area continues to grow, securing affordable property for HabiJax home projects becomes more challenging. If you are aware of a parcel of land or home in need of rehabilitation in Duval County that may be donated to HabiJax or available for purchase, please contact our Vice President of Construction and Real Estate at (904) 424-7617. Cars for Homes Your vehicle donation can help a family build a house. Cars For Homes accepts majority of cars, trucks, boats, RVs and other vehicles with proper title and ownership information, and makes the arrangements to have your vehicle, keys and title picked up for processing. Please call (877) 277-4344 or donate automobiles online. Matching Gifts Thousands of corporations have a matching gift program which may match your gift to HabiJax. Please contact your human resources department to verify and initiate the matching gift process. Planned Giving Many of our partners support HabiJax through planned gifts, which may qualify for significant tax deductions. Giving options include bequests, charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. Stocks/Bonds/IRA A charitable gift of stocks or bonds provides an opportunity for tax savings while generously sharing with others. A gift of stock owned for more than one year entitles you to a charitable deduction for the full market value at the time the gift is made. eBay HabiJax is registered with eBay to participate in Giving Works, the program that allows sellers to contribute a percentage of their earnings to their favorite nonprofit.
