Recently, JEA profiled one of their employees, Jake who also happens to be a HabiJax Team Leader. And, we think Jake is pretty awesome! Jake underwent training and leads groups of volunteers on our construction sites during the year. What is a Team Leader you ask? It’s someone who loves supporting the Jacksonville community and can commit to leading groups of volunteers on our construction projects throughout the year.
A Team Leader does not need to have previous construction experience and goes through training on HabiJax construction practices. Also included are trainings on safety and CPR certification. If you love building houses with us, love to lead, or just simply love giving back, a role as a Team Leader might just be the perfect fit for you!
