175 Homes Built Out East!

Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville (HabiJax) celebrates the accomplishments of our homeowners in building and owning 175 homes in the Historic Eastside neighborhood of Jacksonville. Having recently been added to the National Register of Historic Places, “Out East” has become the focus of broad-based, community-led revitalization efforts in the past years.

HabiJax began helping residents build homes in the neighborhood in our second year of existence and continues to support residents in their efforts to live, shop, and play in a vibrant community of historic significance.

On Tuesday, March 5, we will gather friends and supporters for our first Heroes Build Home Dedication on Evergreen Ave at 3 pm. Immediately after the dedication (around 3:45 pm), we will make our way half a block south for a Party in the Park at A. Philip Randolph Heritage Park (1096 A. Philip Randolph Blvd). Repicci’s Italian Ice and Gelato truck will be on hand serving up goodies for all our guests.
