On Thursday evening, April 3rd, 2025 we are celebrating some of HabiJax’s “Unsung Heroes” in a special awards dinner at the Jessie Ball duPont Center downtown.
These same Unsung Heroes, nominated by staff and board members, will be invited to return on Friday, April 4th for a build day together, continuing construction in the Longbranch neighborhood on Jacksonville’s Eastside.
An Unsung Hero is someone who has led by example and changed HabiJax for the better. These individuals consistently go above and beyond for the mission, often without receiving the recognition they deserve.
HabiJax staff and board members, along with key volunteers, will nominate these everyday champions to be honored during Leaders Week.
This evening will serve as a recognition of their dedication, hard work, and significant contributions that often go unnoticed. We will shine a well-deserved spotlight on these exceptional individuals who have made a lasting impact, all while remaining behind the scenes.
