Dwayne’s Dedication
On Wednesday May 4th, 2022, HabiJax had the honor of surprising a long-time HabiJax volunteer, Dwayne, with his very own space to live.
We want to give a special shot out to Will Secure who led this effort. Check out the highlight video below to see how we continue to put God’s love into action!
The project was led by Construction Superintendent, William Secure, who has also became a great friend of Dwayne’s.
“I really believe that God was involved in the project”, said Secure as he stood at the podium to address all of those who attended the dedication. “I met Dwayne when I started at HabiJax in 2018. I would give him a ride to and from our different projects. As time passed, he would ride with a couple of days a week, and we have been close friends since. I have not met some one who has a love for HabiJax and Jesus the way that Dwayne does,” said Secure as he held back tears.
In attendance were members from Dwayne’s family, friends, HabiJax staff members and the many different volunteers who contributed to this special project.
