HabiJax Named Region’s Best Homebuilder

2024 Bold City Best Awards Recognize the Best Businesses in Jacksonville

For the second year in a row, HabiJax was named the Best Homebuilder in Jacksonville for its outstanding commitment to affordable housing and community service. The award was presented after a community vote in the 2024 Bold City Best competition, conducted by the Florida Times-Union and Jacksonville.com.

“We are honored that the community has recognized HabiJax for excellence in homebuilding and our commitment to providing affordable housing solutions,” said HabiJax President and CEO Monte Walker. “We deeply appreciate this acknowledgment of our efforts to help families build better futures and improve their housing conditions.”

More than 182,000 votes were tabulated for the two-phase competition that began in February with nominations of businesses in fifteen primary categories. The top five nominees in each category advanced to a ballot, giving the power to the people to select the finalists. The 2024 Bold City Best Winners Guide will be published in an upcoming edition of the Florida Times-Union, representing the best people, places, and things in Jacksonville.
