Join us for this special virtual event as part of International Women Build Week (March 8 – 15) to create a vision board that will inspire you to think creatively about how we define community, home and supporting women.
We will discuss what images or words portray your ideas of home, what the pandemic has revealed and changed about the status of women, how HabiJax supports women in their goal of homeownership and what steps we can take to achieve our goal of providing safe, decent and healthy homes for women.
Participants are encouraged to use any materials available including images, text or multimedia! The goal is to create vision focused on safe homes, community, women and your personal goals related to those topics.
Why?
Women are at the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. They are also disproportionately bearing the costs of the economic downturn. At a time when staying home has become the first line of defense against the virus, what role does safe and decent housing play in supporting women during the pandemic?
When?
Date: Saturday, March 13th, 2021
Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST
