HabiJax Holds Showcase Event and Dedication of Legacy 8 Townhomes
Project supported in full by the Delores Barr Weaver Fund celebrating eight decades of her life
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 11, 2018) – Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Inc. (HabiJax) will host a showcase event and dedication to celebrate the completion of its first ever townhome project. This eight-unit development was made possible by a generous gift through the Delores Barr Weaver Fund at The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida and celebrates the eight decades of Mrs. Weaver’s life. The eight units have wall to wall carpeting, upgraded appliances and spacious open floor plans. The three and four bedroom units are between 1,500 and 1,550 square feet and two units will be available to tour prior to the event.
Local officials from the public and private sector have been invited to the event. The program will include remarks from Mrs. Weaver and HabiJax representatives.
