Faith Leaders Build Day
Join a diverse group of Northeast Florida faith leaders in building a home in the Longbranch neighborhood on Jacksonville’s Eastside on April 1st during Leaders Week 2025.
Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville (HabiJax) brings people together to empower families in building better futures through homeownership.
Worshipping communities have always been on the front linesof our work. The 2025 Faith Leaders Build Day will be an interfaith effort, bringing faith leaders together to take action on our shared belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live.
Let your leadership inspire the community around us as we put God’s love into action across denominational and religious dividing lines.
Each participating Faith Leader will:
- Contribute or commit to raising a minimum of $500
- Arrange for a HabiJax representative to speak to your congregation or participate in a major outreach/missions event.
- Participate in a half-day construction shift with other leaders
- Receive an exclusive 2025 Leaders Week T-Shirt
- Develop relationships with other faith leaders during your volunteer shift and a catered luncheon on the build site
- Receive an invitation to our capstone Leaders Week event, the Unsung Heroes Dinner at the Jessie on April 4th
- Receive an invitation to return for the home dedication!
- Receive recognition for you and your congregation’s support
