Ability to Pay Mortgage:
Monthly income must be between 35% and 80% of median income for Duval County (see chart to right) to meet routine expenses, maintain the house and make monthly mortgage payments. You must have lived or worked in Duval County for at least six months,have less than $1,000 in delinquent debt, and if you have a credit score, it must be above 620 (if no credit score, you will need to meet non-traditional credit guidelines).
If you are scheduled for a loan appointment, you will be required to pay $25 (1 applicant) or $35 (co-applicant) as an application fee. Checks, money order, or online payment is accepted.
